Sands again. And yes a new character.

This kid here is Cliff Bishop, 16, a Kate Bishop/Tommy Shepherd kid. More of a Kate Bishop one though, since he grew up with and was raised by her. And he loves Hawkeyes, hell he really wanted to be one or at least be that plucky archer sidekick.

Essentially how it goes is that about 3-4 years ago they moved off to LA for Kate to do the PI/Hawkeye thing (sort of like the recent Fraction run). Was all excited to get started on the hawkeye training but it turns out...he's not that great at archer? He's not terrible or anything, he hits targets well but...that took a lot of practice. So a career as a heroic archer isn't in the hard. Depressing really. Then on top of that his powers started manifesting. Not smoothly, and not quickly. Hell, they're still developing. He's got superspeed, but it's iffy. And he often gets side-effects of a sort. Shaking hands, vibrating, he gets antsy, seizures sometimes. When it gets bad he also gets desperate. It's not pleasant and not controllable. He often gets the feeling that he just has to go and takes off running somewhere. Sometimes he'll end up states away. It's made him pretty isolated (he had to be taken out of school because the side stuff got so bad and disruptive for him), sullen and quiet. But he's a nice kid under all that.

Anyway, he's moving back here for the school year. Students will meet him, and he's got connections via Kate. For any teachers...he's the kid in class where on his bad days (he has good non-sideeffect days) he taps his foot a lot, looks unfocused and antsy. Also guarantee he asks to go to the washroom every single class. Every one. Sometimes he just doesn't come back. He's also prone to skipping class on his worse days. Sometimes goes out for a run or a drive around town on his scooter (used to have a motorbike but not now), Which...school admins tend not to like so in their books he's a trouble maker. (He doesn't trust authorities because of bad school experiences too anyway)

So yeah, mostly a kid troubled by his powers that could use some friends and mentoring. Or at least someone to go to when things get bad and he's desperate.

Cheers!
