After a little bit of chatting, Kait and Jo decided that the characters teaching the core subjects (English, Math, Science and Social Studies) will be allowed to teach two subjects instead of one. It was built to have more people, but... we don't have more people, and having 32 staff for 48 students is a little ridic. XD If we were a considerably busier game, it would be different, but as it is we're asking teachers to teach one class a day in the name of out-of-character fairness that we actually don't need to be concerned about.
This doesn't apply to the phys ed teachers or the ones who teach electives (Owen, Mark and Louis), because the phys ed teachers already teach two separate classes and the other three teach four.
We haven't fully updated the mod journal just yet to reflect this change because we're actually about to go out to dinner (mmm, Sonic). Anyone who wants to snag another class can either comment to the "Life at the Academy" page itself, or to this post. The additional class doesn't necessarily have to be in their department, as long as they're qualified to teach it.
