The truth plot is over today! Jes will be making a post shortly to announce its end, but as of midnight last night, everyone an officially lie again.
Truth plot is going to roll into something bigger later this week, so keep your eyes open. We're shooting for Thursday. It's gonna be a smash. :D We're also almost finished writing up some new mod journal stuff regarding the Superhero Registration Act and superhero teams, which will be relevant (or at least informative) for the upcoming plot and will be posted either later today or tomorrow.

Yoooooooo. This is Jo with #7, Beau Lebeau. His real first name is Étienne, but... no. Nope. He gets this stupid nickname instead.
He's Bex Lebeau's twin brother and inherited his mother's powers. He's been absorbing Bex is short bursts since they were in the womb together, so his sister has taken up a sort of permanent residence in his head and it's made him kinda fucked up, when combined with the inevitable accidents that put more people in his head, too. He's kind of a troublemaker, but also he's really not? It's complicated. Also, he's a budding con artist, because reasons.
About a year ago, he had an incident with a supervillain when a powered terrorist group (to be determined!) attacked the Academy. While defending himself and his sister, Beau absorbed one of the baddies until the guy was in a coma and temporarily went batty. In order to fix him, Emma Frost performed her signature "psychic surgery" to lock away as much of the bad dude's personality and memories as possible, leaving Beau with memories of of the incident and his powers (flight and super strength) but none of the yucky asshole brain parts. For now, anyway.
Soooo yes. He's a junior. He needs friends/connections/etc. (Plz app more students.) He'll probably get along with Vanessa, considering they had phys ed together last year and she already seems to get on with Bex. :D

also i'm alex. generally, you'll like me. most of the time.
henry is the son of alex power, who headed up the power pack (if you're following 616, this was in the 80's and 90's and he reappeared in House of M and his siblings, mostly Julie, with the Runaways---but mostly just, for new avalon sake, it was power pack only until he hung it up and went to work for reed). all those power suits are his. this is the main thing you need to know about his powers. he poops rainbows when he flies, there's tiny elves in his pockets, he can float high and turn into a 6" Ken doll. he's stupidly sarcastic and things tend to fly over his head. he's 25 and a lazy sonofabitch some days and not others. he'll platonic cuddle you. don't trust him with small children. don't trust him with your dog. don't trust him to not spy through his back curtains either or evesdrop. do trust him to irritate you, keep your secrets and bring you soup at 3am if you're vomiting everywhere or hold your head over a toilet.
he's a former student and has been around a bit, part of the sentries and goes to NYU, sort of. maybe. i'm pretty unsure on it right now but we'll sort that out later.
