Intro! [06 Apr 2014|09:51pm] Hello everyone! My name is Lex, and I bring you Vanessa Kiel/Sever, the daughter of Daken and FBI Agent Donna Kiel. Vanessa looks much more like her mother, but inherited all of her father's abilities, including pheromone manipulation, so please pop on over to her permissions post and let me know which effects and to what extent you're okay with Vanessa using on your characters. :) Vanessa was brought up primarily by her mother and Daken didn't really come into the picture until the latter third of her life. She is intelligent, analytical, and manipulative enough that she tends to put on a more cheerful "normal" act to make people underestimate her. She's got some violent instincts and learned from Daken how to con people effectively. She learned about FBI investigative procedure from her mother. Fortunately, Vanessa also possesses empathy and the desire to use her talents to help others. She's just...a lot more Machiavellian about it than most. If you've ever watched Dexter and/or Leverage, that's a sample of Vanessa-morality - doing bad things is okay as long as you're only targeting bad people and have evidence that they're bad people.
