11. I see Owen a little bit like a large, old lion, who's scarred from fighting and a little skittish, who prefers to be left alone but will get aggressive if attacked.
12. He's old-fashioned. He never really got into social media, and he's a tactile kind of guy so he likes to send cards and letters if they don't have to reach a person immediately. He used to greatly prefer phone calls over email, but with his current hearing difficulties he's more likely to text. But don't text him if you have something really important to say; talk to him in person. He doesn't see the need for HDTV or any hooha like that, but he does like touch screens.
13. Owen tends to curl up tight in bed and likes to sleep on his stomach wrapped up in blankets and holding pillows. He's a heavy sleeper as a rule, especially because he can't hear much to disturb him. He insists on making the bed despite the fact that it's hard for him to do it.
14. Pain, mostly, especially in the cold. Owen has a lot of ... stuff in his face to reconstruct it, and he's got phantom pain sometime and little shards of the power dampener that don't usually bother him, but he doesn't respond well to extreme changes in temperature. Season changes are painful for him, and he knows when it's going to rain based on how much everything hurts.
15. He's an early-to-bed, early-to-rise guy and likes to have his morning coffee out on the back porch when the sun comes up.
