There was a tiny bit of sheepishness when Lenore noticed her accidental spray, but the embarrassment quickly vanished in favor of their activities and conversation. Tessa never really stayed shamed for very long, if at all. It was one of the constant sources of exasperation for her parents. "I know it's wrong to think that way, but I feel like in our world we know there are people who actually deserve such things. We can't afford to be naive."
The snowman was taking shape as they talked about their abilities, though both knew the real juicy topic was yet to come. "I didn't! You'll have to try it again sometime with me around so I can see." Of course now Alec would be expecting it, so the reaction might not be the same. "I wonder what would happen if we teamed up on him," she mused after a few moments of contented silence. Their work on the bottom was nearly done, which was good because the gossip they'd both been waiting for had started.
"As much as I love my sister and think she's the most amazing person at this school, I wouldn't use 'popular' to describe either of us. Unless you count the amount of books being read into popularity, then darling Abs has everyone beat," she said, though her expression was so fond that any confusion as to how she meant her comments would easily be put to rest. "She's a sweetie and people like that, so I can see where he might think popular, but just because she is well-liked doesn't mean she's too good for anyone. Abby would never think that way." Moving to Lenore's feet once she paused to catch her breath, she began forming the same type of skates that everyone had the pleasure of witnessing in Frozen on her friend's feet.
