as we're approaching endgame, applications for new characters will be closed starting august 1st in order to focus on the characters currently in play.

Please only claim one volunteer spot per player to start. Once 24 hours has passed as of the time of posting, you may claim more but we want to be sure to give everyone a fair shake!

Volunteer spots highlighted in blue are special slots that are meatier than the others and usually involve the discovery of metaplot nuggets. They will require some sort of public update that lets the island-at-large know about this; this can be a journal, flash reactionary, or ic/ooc— unless the slot specifies, it's up to you!

These are very limited. To keep things fair, if you grab a special slot this month you won't be able to grab one next month. (But if one is left unclaimed after 24 hours, you can claim it even if you claimed one the previous month.)

In the event that these slots are sat on and forgotten about, or if the knowledge gained isn't shared with the rest of the island, the mods reserve the right to reclaim the spot and distribute the information as they see fit.

helllloooo! we want to help everyone out by making sure there are plenty of places to cross reference what events are taking place, and when, and why! so to the left you'll find a happy little code that you can fill out to give peeps a heads up that you'll be running an event, ic/ooc, flash reactionary, or whatever else that people can reply to.

we'll do our best to keep this updated and post events on discord in case you're like us and do well with reminders everywhere lmao.

please be aware of the other plots taking place and time your event accordingly! if in doubt, ask. we're always keen to help.

additionally weather is randomly generated so feel free to request any changes in weather as long as it hasn't been mentioned as notable on the pcal. (for example: "there was a terrible storm that passed over the island." is notable but a weather icon w/a blank pcal description is totally random.)
