hello! you'll notice this is a half pcal because both cortney and ali are on hiatus at the end of the month, as well as about half the game. cortney's moving and the others are going to a wedding 👀

📸 Cliff's sendoff at sea will be held today on the southern beach just before sunset.
The island celebrates him with beautiful summer blooms dotted across the island, forming path-like clusters that lead toward the sea. The polaroids from the fog that still litter the island have turned into magical flowers that glow softly in the night. (Polaroids that have been picked up by player characters are unaffected.)

With the help of the wisps, Dr. Tui Takurua has outfitted the vet's office to recieve monstrous clients. There is also now a system in place to surrender unwanted eggs and hatched monsters.
Weekly Monster Meetup events are on the calendar outside of the vet's office, to ensure the island's monsters are properly socialized and well adjusted. The first event will take place on Sunday, June 05.

🌟🎉 The community garden is getting a glow up! Volunteers can come fix up the garden area, clean out the pantry to see what kind of weird shit these people were eating in the 70s, and get a free lunch out of it. Promise the lunch won't be made from expired pantry spam.
Bloom and grow! After the work at the community garden is finished, a warm and oddly refreshing rain passes over the island. Any outdoor plants and crops the islanders have planted during their stay here have fully sprouted and matured during the rain.

bonny witnesses a private moment between a Wushie and a Mushie at the pond in Octoberville. They're both holding hands and emitting a cloud of spores, until they notice they're being watched. The Mushie covers its face in embarrassment and the Wushie turns and puffs out its chest, giving the voyeur the middle finger. (It only has three very pudgy fingers.)
The Mushie de-escalates and tugs its partner along and they disappear under the roots of the dead tree.

Despite the rain, volunteer 002 is out by the lake near Neverland when they see Peter playing fetch with his alligator dog.
"My arm's tired. You wanna play?" he offers, tossing the ball to them before they have a chance to respond. The alligator dog comes bounding after them. "Better throw it or he'll eat you."
(The alligator dog, as it turns out, is quite friendly. His name is Rex, short for T-Rex.)

📸 The Destiny's Child Recon Squadron notices the geese don't seem as active today in the rain and fog. Time to strike!

cortney will be on hiatus starting today to prepare for her move and ali does not want to make mod or plot decisions without her. a significant number of our players, including ali, will also be on hiatus for a wedding from june 23 - june 28.
