Paige and OPEN
Paige had ended up working later than she meant to which led to her walking home in the dark. She had gotten accustomed to walking home in the dark without really worrying about her safety which was nice. Less and less Paige worried about herself here and she was getting better at being open to what she was. It was nice.
One of her short cuts led her to the edge of the cemetery. She’d gone by here many times before and today felt like any other day. All she remembered was briefly thinking that she didn’t remember there being a statue there and then the next she found herself standing in the middle of daylight. She blinked again and turned around. The cemetery was still there, though it looked a little different, and then she noticed a car coming up the road nearby. It was… a very old looking car, though the old car looked ‘new’. She had a bad feeling about this.
Walking back into town, Paige was able to ignore her aching feet as she took in what she was seeing. This looked like Madison, but from another time. The looks she was getting made her wish she had chosen a floor-length skirt, but she was thankful this one at least went to the knee. Paige looked entirely out of place. “God, what am I going to do…”
