"Yeah, that would be bad if that somehow ended up happening," Brooke hadn’t even thought about it, but there was a difference between making some noise and killing someone. So if by some odd chance that happened, Brooke didn’t see any issues with what she had been doing so far.
Shaking her head, she moved to stand from the seat. "No, enjoy your lunch. I need to go run some errands, but I’ll stop by later since you can’t really text me. So I’ll drop in later and hang around until you’re done." Being out late was nothing new to Brooke, and even if it was seen as improper or whatever during this time, she wasn’t about to change her ways. The idea of being out late and heading back to where she was staying late was not a problem. Smiling at the man, she then headed back the way she came. Maybe she’d pick him up something as a thank you for the help, whether she needed it or not. The fact that he offered was nice.
