It was difficult for Eliot to maintain his composure when Sean was right there in front of him. Even knowing this wasn't his Sean, he had to fight the urge to grab him, drag him back to the farm, and take him to bed and keep him there forever so he'd be safe.
He pushed those thoughts aside and did his best to focus on Sean's questions. "We started arriving a little over a year ago," he said. "I was among the first. The townies were naturally suspicious of us because of the dome. That suspicion only grew when, after a few weeks, we all began to realize that we were truly cut off from the outside world. No deliveries, no supplies, nothing could get in or out." That was when he'd reluctantly embraced his Indiana roots.
"As you can imagine, things devolved rather quickly after that," he said.
