Of course he had to be hit in the back. He tried twice to reach the spot and it was fruitless to do it. If he couldn't reach it, he couldn't dig it out. If he couldn't dig it out, it would slowly kill him. His eyes glowed red as he tried to fight the feel of the wolfsbane. If anything, he had to keep going to make sure Allison was safe.
The scream was closer and much like Alex wanted, Scott turned in the direction. It wasn't Allison, but there were a lot of innocent people still around and they didn't deserve to die or be hurt from the people who used violence to get their way. He would try to use the tree as cover for as long as possible, but it was a park, not a forest and there wasn't a lot of cover. He decided to try to make a run for the big blue box that was half covered in vines. It was rumoured someone lived inside, but Scott had never understood how that could be possible.
