Jamie could only groan at her sister's reaction to everything, though it was inaudible due to the loud music and general noise of the club they were in. "It's for your own good." Was all that she offered in a response as she continued to drag Alaina out towards the back door, but once they were outside the arm she had been holding onto was suddenly snatched away. She allowed her now empty hand to return to her side loosely as her sister asked a question. A question that would have been oh-so-all-apparent had she not been completely wasted and therefor rendered temporarily stupid. Though the temporariness could easily be argued.
"C'mon, I'm taking you home." Jamie replied with a soft sigh, she was really getting tired of having to drag her smashed sister out of clubs on a nightly basis. If she didn't love her so damn much, she would have easily been able to leave her either throwing up or passed out in a ditch somewhere. But that would weigh far too much on her conscience and so here she was instead, talking to her sister who wouldn't even remember any of this in a couple of hours.
"This needs to stop." She said quietly as she once again took a hold of her sister's arm and began to lead her towards her parked car. She didn't even care of her sister was even paying attention, she knew she probably wasn't. "I can't do this anymore, Ali." Jamie continued once they had arrived at her car, opening the passenger side door and helping her sister inside - taking careful consideration of Alaina's head and making sure it didn't hit the top of the car as she slid in. She locked the door and shut it before making her way to the driver's side and getting in herself. But instead of driving off, she simply sat there in the silence that stretched between them. She wanted to leave, but she wasn't sure she was up to heading home just yet. That home at least.
She knew she couldn't take her sister back to her apartment...and Jamie's loft was out of the question. She had tried many times to keep Alaina in her sight, but she had almost always fallen asleep, which allowed her sister to escape...or arguments had irrupted that wouldn't calm down until days, maybe even weeks later. She just didn't have the willpower or determination needed to keep a watchful eye on her sister at all times all alone tonight. But she was dreading the potential shitstorm that would be awaiting them at the Valistaire Manor.
