Druken Ramblings Who: Alaina Ayers and others [feel free to jump in] Where: The Rox [club downtown] Time: Late night
How long the dancing had continued into the night was debate-able. The atmosphere was still blaring, even at 1 AM and the club was bound to close at some point soon within the next few hours, even with the mass of people still here. The bartender was being overwhelemed with the number of drink orders. "I said dirty martini." That voice had insisted again. Another rude patron. The poor man was on the virge of quitting if he did not get a raise soon. He needed one, with how bad this poncho had been working him too late. The lights were still flashing and the music blaring. The night life was intense here, at least within the confines of this club. One patron had frequented it often, this time with her usual guests of debauchery and libertines.
Her skirt was definately too short and the top clung to her in many places that few women would dare to expose. But Alaina was laughing, drink in hand and her hand on the shoulder of another. Joe or Jim? Maybe it had been Bradley..or Brady? She didn't know. Four drinks later and two shots, she was feeling the rush. She leaned forward, laughing a little too loudly for comfort. The guy didn't seem to mind. He was all too enjoying this. Shunning her family duties that she should have been doing. Jamie..she needed to call her sister. Screw that. She could do it tomorrow afternoon. Yes. Mommy and Daddy weren't here. She could do whatever the hell she wanted.
"Do you want to dance?" Bradley asked her. "Why are we standing here Jake!" She replied, laughing, putting her drink on the table and nearly tripping over herself. "How many of those things have you had darling?" He asked, smiling as his hand grasped her hip. "Wouldn't you like to know? I could show you...later..." Alcohol strummed off her breath as she grasped his hand, leading him onto the dance floor. She was tipsy, obviously, as her movements were not stoic and fluid as they normally were. Intoxication at its best. This was going to be a fun night it seemed, as were they usually.
