Hi everyone, I'm Flo (the Flo stands for Florence if you were wondering) and I'm bringing Nora Macmillan to the game! I'm looking forward to playing with you all.

Now to introduce Nora Macmillan. She's a pureblood but in no ways holds any kind of elitist views, her family are quite liberal by wizarding standards. In the Harry Potter books Ernie Macmillan says his family has always supported Dumbledore so I like to think that the family has always supported muggle rights and equality despite their blood. She's a cheery, niave idiot who likes nothing more than to think the world is made out of unicorns and sparkles and everyone loves each other, when it comes to people pointing out the bad in the world she will either try to ignore it or will most likely cry. She is thin skinned, emotionally charged and in no way possesses a backbone, it has been long crushed under the people who take advantage of her eager to please ways.

Nora is the very image of a Hufflepuff, hardworking, loyal, too friendly and to confirm every stereotype of her house, stupid in the academic department, where she fails miserably and will most likely have to somehow get someone to tutor her. At the moment she is in the Slug Club (she's only there because her father is a member of the Wizengamot), the choir where I think the professors are too nice to tell her how awful she is and is Seeker to the Hufflepuff Quidditch team.

Here are some of the plot ideas I had for her if anyone is interested.
Plot Ideas:
1. Nora is too niave. I would love it if someone were to crush her happy demeanor of the world and show her what it really is like. She can't keep going on pretending that everything is unicorns and rainbows forever, that's just silly.
2.Bullied. Nora is a target for being teased as it is rare that she ever retaliates apart from her crying.
3. Tutor. Nora isn't very bright and finds it very hard to achieve over an average mark in her classes, it is likely that at some point she will try to get another student to tutor her, that is if they can handle her stupid remarks.

Hey all, it's Jackie! I bring to you Mafalda Hopkirk, a wee Ravenclaw with a very conservative tone. She is a pureblood and feels that the worlds should be separate but would never tell you that to your face. She tries her best to remain neutral in all situations, finds it hard to make friends and takes her schooling very seriously.

I have never played this character before, so she's totally new to me. Any and all plots will be adored.

I owe some massive apologies to all my games, so I'm starting here. October has been a hellish month for me. While I've been online, I've not really been here mentally. I sit here and I know I need to update, rp, etc. I know I want to do those things as well, but I just can't seem to get the motivation to do so. I'm hoping that things are going to calm down soon. I really need it to.

She likes helping others, and is not afraid to give them a firm lecture if they get too far out of hand. She’s polite and she treats everyone like they’re her siblings, until they piss her off to no end, then she might be cold towards you (fierce if you royally piss her off). Hello everyone! It's Cara again, but this time I bring you someone who is actually nice: Herbert Beery! He is, of course, the Herbology professor and the Hufflepuff Head of House. He's friendly, warm-hearted, considerate, fairly lenient, and a gentleman to the core. Given his theater background, he's also rather theatrical in personality and teaching style. Dancing and theater are his true loves outside of Herbology. He will certainly have his hands all over the upcoming school play, because he would probably curl up and wilt away if he wasn't allowed. Any student who auditions seriously will get a house point or two. THE ARTS ARE IMPORTANT.

Umumum what else. He is very much a halfblood and isn't at all ashamed of it. Bullying is probably the one thing he won't tolerate, so if any bullied students need someone to talk to he is certainly one of the professors to go to! He's always happy to offer candy and advice to anyone who wants it, regardless of status or house.

Alexa, here. I'm one of the new recruits joining this merry band and giving my co-workers one more reason to think I talk to myself. The power of imagination is a double edged sword, my goodness. I'm 22 and an English major, gainfully employed with that devil called Corporate Law--as a receptionist merely as the devil has good health care and desks strategically angled for feigning work. Translation? Huzzah plenty of game time.

On that note...

This is Dorea Black. Yet another branch of the illustrious House of Black; Cygnus I & Violetta's to be exact (which I believe means she has nieces and nephews in addition to cousins? yes no? bah semantics!). She's the second to youngest of her siblings, having beaten out her twin brother Marius by minutes. Then again he's been disowned for being a squib so technically she is the youngest after all. Not at all to her liking.

Dorea is a 7th Year Slytherin, but never mind academics because if it isn't Divinations she can't be bothered anyway. Astronomy to a degree. She is quietly lazy, affably impersonal, and engrossed in Greek novels at any given time. And she draws. With moderate skill. (I however, do not. I'll find a way to get around this somehow. Perhaps. Google Images, don't sue.)

I've been a little bit scarce this week because we recently debuted a new system at work and I just happen to be in Support Services - and everyone flipped out since it wasn't what they were used to and they...couldn't figure it out, despite multiple learning sessions and warnings and olwkjstlkejlktrj WORK. :( BUT IF ANYONE WANTS TO LOG WITH AUGUSTA OR THIS PRETTY LADY, PLEASE DO TELL ME NOW I AM FREE FINALLY.

This is Professor Glenda Cauldwell! She teaches Charms, she's sponsor of the Charms club, she's the Ravenclaw head of house aaaaaand she's pureblood if that matters to anyone (she's also p. much a spinster by those standards, but whatever her family sort of...dwindled due to a lack of male heirs). I'm going to try to be short this time! All in all Glenda gives off the impression of being elegantly reserved, level-headed, and soft-spoken. While she does not raise her voice - ever - students will be familiar with a certain tone that demands attention, and will withhold their attention at their own peril. She's a very fair teacher, even if she can seem a bit strict - she's also really willing to help students out, but she does expect them to meet her halfway or more. Like, you have to do your best if you want her to help you out in things like...getting extra credit you need.

Charis is a free-spirited, artistic, flighty girl who likes to paint, hum, and look at the starts. She's a very thoughtful, introspective type that sees things in different ways. She's poetic, she loves music and she's always drawing. She keeps to herself most of the time, not normally getting along with the others in her house because her priorities are, well, different.

She's the youngest of three sisters, she doesn't quite fancy anyone and doubts she ever will, and she's in Slytherin.

He is older brother to Augusta Higgs, and a 7th year Ravenclaw. He's in the Charms and Duelling club, and has tried out for quidditch every year without success. He's very very curious and will ask questions about absolutely everything. He tends to forget a lot of information too, so don't be surprised if he's asked the same thing three times!

He's a bit socially awkward, so Bertie likes to surround himself with charismatic people. He prefers to sit back and watch as events unfold, and ask questions later. He's a good guy at his heart, but lets his curiosity get the best of him. He's very loyal to Augusta though, so he'll defend her annoying habits until he's blue in the face.

Hey everyone! I'm Jess and I bring you Dai Llewellyn. He's a sixth year Gryffindor and completely crazyyyyy about Quidditch. He's a beater and Captain for Gryffindor and he's a really aggressive, slightly reckless player. He often gets carried away and players end up visiting Madame Myrtus in the Infirmary.

He's really friendly and a believer in some inter-house unity and giving people a chance without judging them right away. He's a Muggle-born but doesn't discuss it freely because of all the prejudice against those without pure blood.

I'm currently seeking 2-3 blokes in his year (not necessarily Gryffindors) to fill the role of his bff's. These guys have been best friends since their first year.
