Mitch had just finished putting up another poster when he heard the other footsteps in the room followed by the familiar voice of Ignatius. The prefects hadn't called it an early night after all, but it didn't seemed to bother him much. He just couldn't help but crack a smile as Ignatius's condescending tone. He stopped what he was doing and turned around.
Faking a confused expression, he glanced at his watch, shook it by his ear, glanced at it again, and then looked back at Ignatius. "Yes," he answered, casually waving a hand at him to shoo. "So, if you don't mind, I'm busy."
He raised his mug and took a drink of his coffee before turning back around. He was always eager to hear the different responses to that one, and he didn't particularly feel like giving Ignatius the satisfaction of thinking he cared at that moment. It's not like he did anyway. Attention went right back to putting up the few posters he had left instead.
