Waiting outside the entrance to the castle for her brother's arrival, the end-of-October chill was was even more apparent after sundown. Lucretia had dressed appropriately and brought the extra pair of mittens she promised even though Orion had insisted he wouldn't need them. She knew well enough that indeed he wouldn't and that Orion was very unlikely to change his mind on the matter given his lifelong dislike against winter wear, but it provided her comfort that they were tucked into the pockets of her robe just in case. After the air attack in Hogsmeade the previous weekend, Lucretia found herself worrying about the members of her family moreso than usual, although she was careful not to be too smothering. Sure an extra pair of unused mittens wouldn't protect Orion from the greater dangers of the warring world or even help prepare him for the upcoming responsibilities he had to face, but there was very little that she could do otherwise.
Journal tucked firmly under her arm, Lucretia couldn't help but be in a particularly good mood despite her worries after arranging a meeting in the library for the next day, although it wasn't a matter she was planning to discuss. Having stayed cooped inside her dorm room the entire weekend, which she hadn't intended but fell victim to a particularly good book, at least getting outside and spending some time with her brother would help work off some of her energy so it'd be easier to get to sleep that night.
