"I'm sure they never wanted us to know about it," Neville mused, thinking of all of the uses their professors might have had for the Room of Requirement that would have made some of their more complicated lessons far easier. "Though I think Professor McGonagall would tell us, if we didn't already know."
He walked back over to where they had been, retrieving his rucksack and giving the room a last look over. They had wanted to check in today just to be sure everything would be good for a meeting at the start of term, but now Neville just wanted to stay, to feel safe just a little bit longer.
"A room full of ice cream? Were you going to swim in it?"
