A rather sad effort at controlling the situation Who: Open to anyone When: Friday, after the destruction of Blue and Yellow Blocks Where: Anywhere necessary, primarily outside the destroyed Blocks What: Disaster reaction thread "Please do not panic!" The guard's voice echoed over the megaphone and bounced off the standing rubble and debris. People were screaming and running, limping and bleeding, pinned and crying for help. Revolve staff was moving in as quickly as they could to attempt to free trapped individuals, but few could truly be reached. Blue Block was in ruins, it had collapsed in on itself and been reduced to rubble which was falling haphazardly into the gaping hole which had formerly been the Blue Block Training Room. A large section of Yellow Block had also been destroyed, two corners of the building were standing, but it did not look as if it would be standing much longer.
This was nothing short of a disaster, brought on by one single mutant. The thought was enough to make most guards send uneasy looks to the mutants they were attempting to rescue. What if these mutants decided to turn on them? What if they were not prepared for it? Would any of them cause this kind of chaos? No one was ready for that, this gross destruction was more than enough for one day.
"All mutants should exit the building and report to Green Block Cafeteria. Repeat: Mutants, report to the Green Block Cafeteria! Medical staff will be on hand to treat any injuries there. All Revolve Employees who are injured should report to the Blue/Yellow Block Underground Entrance, you will be transported to medical there. Please remain calm, rescue teams are combing the rubble!"
The announcement over the megaphone were supposed to bring order to the mountain of chaos which Revolve had been reduced to, sadly very few were paying attention to the well-meaning guard at that moment. Mutants stood around and gawked at the buildings which had once been home, others cried, shouted or quietly mourned the loss of personal property or the lives of friends. Staff wandered aimlessly from shock or attempted to look busy to avoid being ordered to enter the unstable wreckage. Eventually Fischer would arrive and shout and swear at the staff enough to jump start their brains and put order back into things, until then very little was actually going to be enforced. It was just too much for most.
