"Kicking my ass? No, I'm pretty sure it's called biting," Skye quipped back, getting the breath knocked out of him as he hit the floor. Only stunned for a brief moment, he was on his feet with a nimble flip, facing Nox with his hands up in a defensive position.
Why Nox didn't press his advantage while Skye was on his back, he wasn't sure-- in the arena anyone would be smart to. Nor did he really understand why Itzal turned his back on him. That was just ..confusing for a guy who was used to running straight forward into a fight, and Skye couldn't bring himself to attack him with his back turned either. That seemed wrong to him, unfair, bad.
"Dunno.. sounds more like you want me to like it. Maybe you want another chance to bite me, Nox," he teased back, easing out of his defensive stance. If one thing, when it came to good natured teasing Skye could give as good as he got and his mouth tended to get away from him. "What can I say, I'm a bite-able guy. Like-able too and, dude, no one hates me. It's not possible. But I don't think they all want to bite me like you obviously do."
Easing up behind him, he tried to see what had the other man's attention, whispering conspiratorially against his ear, "We're supposed to be training.. What're you looking at?"
