The situation only became more and more compromising. Itzal was really feeling the pain of his arm because he could tell that Skye's strength was returning. His arm began to feel like a mangled mess, stuck in the one position, bent back. "I would normally say it's a good thing I'm flexible, but I think that would be lost on this audience." He barely had the air to say in any sense of fluidity. He still struggled and was still completely unprepared for whatever could be next. If he could somehow get the other to let him go, that would be the best option, even though he knew his chances of holding out were only so much better than his present condition. However, if he hit the floor, he certainly wouldn't last much longer unless he convinced himself to keep going. His opponent, on the other hand, was providing him with the drive to keep pushing on.
Nox was wound tight and felt like his body was going to break. No one had ever been able to catch him like this and it honestly pissed him off. It was another weakness to overcome. The blows weren't making much of an impact on the other and he knew what was to come soon. He knew he was going down. Even amidst his futile struggle, his passion for winning never ceased. Then, Endless said yet another thing to spark that fury. Chills ran down the shade's spine, and for a moment, he relaxed, feeling the other man's breath along his neck. He moved slightly, his body betraying him. "Well, you are quite... persistent. I'll give you that." He choked out, his breath heavier not only because of the pain, but also his present situation.
The young man had found himself losing again. He raged more, trying to break the hold, but figured it wouldn't work. The only thing he could do was to go down easily so that he could fight with what he had left on the ground. "I... won't... yield!" He growled back at Skye, turning his head to look him in the eyes. His jade eyes seared into those of Endless. Without much time passing, Skye brought him down. Even though Skye only wanted to go down to his knees, Itzal had other plans. He feigned that he was falling towards the ground, that he had no strength to fight. "I'm thinking... you're finding this more enjoyable the more we play..." He breathed out each word, sounding exhausted.
Without much thought, hoping it was enough to distract him, the shade threw his body back, trying to knock them both to the floor completely. He pushed even with his knees and all the force he could muster. He even threw a headbutt backwards and an elbow from his free arm to try to catch his foe. He wasn't ready to give up, but he was wearing down slowly. He tried to loosen his body up a little bit so that he could maneuver himself around better, but he knew in the end, he would lose. The immortal had time and he had the endurance it took to get back up after all of this. That was something that even the shade lacked.
Itzal kept putting pressure on the other, but his range and power were limited. Acrobats were something Nox had been spending his time working on so that he could handle people like Wild Child. However, he had not prepared for tanks like Endless. It would just give him more to train for. He was sweating a reasonable amount now, enough to dampen his hair. While it was cool, he was hoping it could let him slip away. However, each new attack resulted in more energy lost.
