While trading blows was fun for a while, even Skye could be motivated by winning, which was why he knew to stick with what he was good at. You didn't even have to be the strongest fighter in the arena to get and keep an advantage with a good submission hold. With Itzal's arm twisted up behind him, he wasn't going to manage much in the way that would be a real detriment to Skye and the strikes or kicks he did land were all telegraphed as the boy's body twisted in his hold, so at least he wasn't catching him off guard by them. Didn't mean they hurt less, just that Skye was better prepared to take them, let it wash through his body and be forgotten.
Of course he should've known the position would make Itzal go all stiff, considering it was the opposite reaction of what Skye would have done if their positions had been reversed. Nox's shoulder must be killing him though, especially once Skye's arm was all better and his grip only tightened as he restrained him.
"I don't mind this position at all," he said with a soft chuckle, the words huffed against the side of the other man's neck. He could only be expected to stop teasing for so long; after all, it was impossibly to resist. "And I didn't attack from behind, you saw it coming. Doesn't mean I won't hold you from behind though and enjoy it while I can. But, something tells me you might enjoy it to."
It was good that Itzal wasn't one to give up easily, even if his constant grumbling amused him Skye could at least admire that. "Break my hold or yield, man," he grunted as he swept them both to their knees with a well placed kick to the back of Nox's. He could've have thrown him to the ground by reversing the hold he was keeping on Itzal's shoulder, but he didn't want to seriously hurt him and the kid wouldn't recover from a dislocated shoulder as quickly as Skye could. He wasn't unaware of that or the way Nox was breathing harder.
