Trying very hard to emerge from the dark.
Who: Wild Child
When: Saturday, very early morning
Where: Kyle's room, Jason's manner
What: Gibney's mutation spike is leaving him rather... beastly
The lights in Kyle's room were off, as they had been for days. The door to the room was closed and locked as it had been for a week, not to restrain the youth within the room, but to protect those who might be tempted to peek into the room to check on the feral. Kyle did not want to be checked on by anyone outside of Jason, and even then he did not want Jason there half the time. Then again, Kyle Gibney was not really himself.
A roar shook the halls, originating from the room as the more animal than human male paced he confines of his room. He was restless, he was furious, he wanted to destroy something. So he did, he thrusting his entire body upon the desk there, teeth and claws rending and tearing, the solid structure reduced to a pile of splinters in a matter of minutes. Huffing and heaving, panting and snarling, the feral dragged himself back to the darkest corner of his room and dropped into a heap. He closed his eyes and let out a long, heavy huff, attempting to get his restless body to relax.
The mutation spike had left Kyle a mess. He was trapped on all fours, his hands more like talons or paws, his mind was crippled, leaving him unable to speak even the most simple of words. His emotions jumped between extremes, dangerous and brutal to needy and broken. One moment he would be crying for attention, burying his face in Jason's waiting arms, the next he would be snarling and lashing out, attempting to take a chunk out of the very man who was caring for him. At least the tide was slowly turning. The violent swings were fewer and further between. Slowly the teen was coming back to himself.
