Vic chuckled quietly and leaned his elbows on the counter to look into the younger's eyes, his own gentle and understanding. "I don't know much about it myself," he said honestly. "I'm a coward," he chuckled. "Camouflage, hit and run, stay out of sight and try and attack before I'm seen. I think it's the lizard in me. I can fight, but I sure don't like it," he chuckled. He understood that feeling.
His eyes widened and glittered a little at the Carr commented, a grin quickly splitting his green face. "Oh you have?" He asked in a rather cheeky tone, head canting to one side. Interesting that he'd bring the dog-man up to him, he thought. His devilish little smile dwindled at the next comment though, a sight leaving him as his eyes softened.
"If you were completely terrible, I doubt he'd waste his time teaching you. He sees something in you, potential. Heck, you did pretty good in our match, I just got lucky. Don't be so hard on yourself." He shifted to grab a damp rag and mop at the counter top, trying to look busy for the cameras. "You're still new to all this, I've been here ages and ages," he reminded. "You'll get the hang of it. It's not easy, but it does get easier. ...I think."
