Cinco de Mayo Who: Anole, Violet When: Cinco De Mayo! early afternoon Where: Vi's room, Blue Block What: Vic is bringing candy to check on an old friend Victor had spent the past week holed up, trying to adjust to his new arm. It wasn't that it was just new or strange, it was so entirely different. The scales were thicker and harder, which made feeling things through them more difficult, the nails on his hand were pointed and sharp, and perhaps most different, it was strong. Monday he had ripped a door clean off of its hinges because it had been stuck, which had earned him a good, long zap from his shock collar and a bit of roughing up as a punishment. There as a lot to adjust to.
There were upsides, of course. Mason found the new appendage sexy as hell, something he could not complain about, and it actually gave him some kind of weapon for the arena. That fact alone instilled confidence and helped settle himself. It felt odd getting dressed, and wearing long sleeves was basically out of the question now, with the bulky spikes on his forearm and shoulder, but all and all he could deal. It worked, even if it left him rather lop sided.
He quietly moved into Blue Block, knocking quietly at Violet's cell door, the small bucket of candy looking comically tiny compared to his now large fist. He waited, wondering if hse would even bue up to seeing him. She had not looked so good at the beach last he had heard, and rumor had it hse'd had to fight an old freiend. It all sucked, it all sucked very, very badly, but that was why he was here. To make things better... or to try to.
"Happy Cinco de Mayo!" He called cheerfully into her door. "It's your friendly neighborhood lizard man with candy!"
