Carr sat up when lizard-boy spoke, nodding in answer to his question. He tried to look as harmless as possible, ignoring the wolf side of him that wanted to growl in response to the rich, cloying scent of fear that rolled off the other mutant.
He was just starting to relax, to think that maybe things would be ok, when he realised that Greeny had no feet. Or hands. Eyes widening, Carr backed up a little, barking softly. You can take the man out of the wolf...he whined nervously, eyeing the hands. He could still see shadows.....huh. Ok, so that made sense, what with the lizard-like appearance. Chameleon-boy here was so freaked out he was blending in with the furniture.
Lying down again, Carr slowly crawled his way across the floor, wagging his tail. When he was closer, he rested his chin between his paws, and whined again. See? Friendly wolf.
