Who: Pixie OT Female members of the White Block When: Wed, April 1, around 10:30 am Where: White block female showers What: Pixie isn't a happy girl. And sometimes you just have to have a bit of a cry. Maybe someone can bring the ice cream. :P
Pixie was not a morning person. Not at all. And yet, she was up this morning a full hour earlier than usual. Maybe she really was a morning person, but her usual late nights made it hard for her body to wake up before noon? Or maybe ten in the morning didn't really make her a morning person. Even if it felt like it.
She hadn't really gone to bed any earlier last night, but maybe the simple fact that she could have, that she'd slept in her own bed, and that she hadn't been sore and tired and used so that she slept well was what made the difference.
She didn't know what was wrong with her, she really didn't, but even though she'd slept well, even though she'd woken on her own, and earlier than she had to, she still didn't feel so good. Tired, dragging, and, not to put too fine a point on it, depressed. Usually she managed to shrug it off when she went through a down phase. Usually it passed with no one the wiser. But this one wasn't. This one only was getting worse.
And so she'd come in here where no one was likely to look for her, ostensibly to take a shower, but in truth to try and let the water beat her into submission. It was Wednesday. Watanabe-sama would be returning to the island tonight and she would have to go back to work. A thought that made her cringe. Not that she had a choice. Not that she'd ever had a choice.
She'd already washed her hair and conditioned it, now she was sitting slumped on the floor, her arms wrapped around her knees as the shower beat down on her wings. At least it didn't get cold here. It wasn't hygienic, sitting on the shower floor like this. But then, neither was fucking strange men with no protection. She wasn't going to quibble about mold.
She was trying to forget, and trying harder not to cry since she didn't want to deal with a stuffy nose and sore eyes on top of already feeling like crap, when she heard the door open. She wasn't being too successful at keeping the tears back, though, and they splashed onto her knees to mix with the shower water, hoping that at least they wouldn't be heard over the shower. Biting her lip, she waited to see who it was, and whether they'd bother her. Too bad she didn't think to stand, or think about how odd it would look to see someone's foot under the shower stall as they sat on the floor. Especially since her wings were trailing in the water as she sat there, too.
