Who: Ribbon OT Shy When: Night, March 29 Where: Ribbon's room and Shy's room communicating via computer What: Shy taps his sister to tell her how he feels about her fight.
The trundling sound of her metal box had long since gone away. The fight was yesterday. Ribbon had only picked at her food, dissatisfied not with the food itself but rather with the quality of the fight she was given. Yes, he was fast. Yes, he was probably fairly strong. No, he was not even close to being a match for her. Then again, who really was? Phoenix did not participate in the ring anymore. Phoenix could also probably crush her in the space it took to acknowledge her presence.
She was the only one on the entire island that really came to mind immediately.
Sad prospect indeed. Nova would have been good for a little fun, if slightly deafening. That had been one of the things she hated about his explosions. The sounds bothered her more than the actual explosions. One of the reasons her fight with him had been as quick as it was...Ribbon had a severe distaste for noise.
For the moment, she was hanging upside down, music running through the speakers of her computer which Shy had been kind enough to install with a minor music program to give her some kind of noise in an attempt to drown out the nearby people. It made it easier to ignore their existence if she concentrated on the sound of the rain coming from the speakers. Ribbon liked rain, there were so many things to hear, and catching it in puddles changed the sounds. Nor did she mind being wet, her hair plastered to her skull and clothes clinging to her skin. The chill was interesting.
Her thoughts were currently occupied by the music and a bag of giant marshmallows. Part of her treat for a match fought according to specifications. Win by any means other than murder. Kyle had still been alive when she exited. So she was chewing a marshmallow when her music was interrupted by the computer voice drone of her little brother making contact again.
