The speakers themselves in Ribbon's were not necessarily the best in the world, at least by the standards of normal humans. Normal humans wanted to be able to hear what was said easily. Ribbon could hear a pin drop from a distance beyond being able to see said pin. So the fact that her speakers were on a nearly sub-audible level all the time bothered her not at all.
She reacted to the sound of the voice randomly coming from them by turning her head toward it as if she could see it. The little computer that did nothing because she had no need for it, no interest in it, and only really had it because it was occasionally necessary for moments like these. The girl in question had been curled up in a ball attached to the ceiling, essentially just rocking back and forth doing nothing. She could have been reading or playing with the half dozen odd size balls Fischer made sure she was provided with as a form of entertainment, but she wasn't. She was curled up doing nothing at all.
Are you aware that you are to fight tomorrow? the words got her attention as she considered the fact of her lack of information. Fischer had not told her any such thing. However, she also didn't get to see him as easily anymore now that she was on a different block. Are you capable? Both of those were considered questions. Questions by nature desired answers. That meant getting down and answering him.
The keyboard was not the newest type, probably because of the likelihood she would eventually break any object left in her possession. With careful fingers, she found the letters and typed:
No. Yes. The only thing suggesting what she was answering came with the order the answers were provided in.
