Who: Psylence OTA When: Thursday, March 19, 2009 Evening Where: The Library What: Daryn tries to acclimate to Revolve and not worry about Jayden in the process, unsuccessfully
Since arriving on The Island, Daryn had had a consistent and nagging migraine. She wanted to blame it on her exhaustive and fruitless efforts of using her powers to try to get herself and her daughter out of this hellhole. Or maybe it was that damndable shock collar, making her feel like a dog, finally getting to her. But more likely than not, it was the guilt and the stress of causing all of this horrible mess to happen to her family that was continually pressing on her mind. When allowed out of their cells, the woman tried to spend as much time as possible with her teenage daughter who was not adapting very well to their new surroundings. But after their release from their cells after 7pm, as scheduled, Jayden had been no where to be found.
Doing her best not to let panic take over, Daryn searched the areas in which mutants were allowed to wander and congregate, her search for her child still coming up empty. Had she escaped? That faint glimmer of hope flickered out as quickly as it had appeared, that was seemingly impossible to do here, let alone in the brief time of their captivity. Making her way into the library darkened green eyes swept the rooms and the aisles of books in search of the petite familiar form, once again coming up empty. Damnit, she muttered to herself with unmoving lips, but the word was, just as all of her words, inaudible.
