Who: Genevieve and Forever When: March 17, around 8 pm Where: On the way to the Arena What: Ginny gets grabbed and a slight bit of Mayhem ensues
Ginny had spent a pleasant hour poking around the various shops in the hotel and the bar as the crowds grew thicker, coming down from the caffeine buzz of the mocha she'd had earlier. She ate a snack since she wasn't really ready for a full dinner and figured that there would be food available at the Arena. Always assuming she didn't lose her appetite in the process.
But finally the crowd was moving in that direction. The first match had begun between a couple of new mutants that no one had heard of, a warm up to get the crowds blood-lust up, not to mention to loosen their wallets for the betting and gambling that was part of the real money making on the island.
With a half wave at the green-man still working in the coffee shop, she moved out with the crowd towards the noise of booing and cheering that was the arena. She barely managed four steps past her wave, though, when she felt a sweaty hand palming her ass, giving the sensitive flesh there a very hard pinch. She turned to look up into a face that was leering down at her, a vacant expression in his eyes that spoke of drugs or drink.
Drink, she decided as the beast poured what remained of his green St. Patrick's day beer onto her chest, making her thin tee-shirt stick to her as her nipples hardened in the cool dampness.
She didn't think, merely lifted a hand and slapped him. Hard. Watching in satisfaction as his head rocked to the side. How dare he touch her like that, but worse, now she smelled like whatever horse-piss-masquerading-as-beer he'd been drinking. Never mind the green food coloring was probably ruining one of her favorite silk bras beneath.
She was completely unprepared for his reaction, a large, meaty fist connecting with her face in a glancing blow that tugged painfully on her nose ring, making the cartilage of her septum crunch. Wincing, she felt the trickle of blood that heralded the further ruining of her clothing, a taste in the back of her throat that made her gag.
She didn't get any further retaliation in, though, as the guards descended at that moment, took one look at her, at her bleeding face and lack of collar (and she saw the flicker of eyes as they checked), and called up a golf cart to take her... somewhere. She didn't see where they took the man, but the fact that they took him away with his hands behind his back mollified her a bit.
Ah, back to the hotel, she noted. There she was escorted into a small room on the ground floor and asked to wait while they fetched a healer. She frowned, but complied. Her nose was now throbbing and she figured the healer would bring pain meds if nothing else.
