Since her move to Yellow Block, Gloria's days had been a little less difficult. The warden's warden was a little ole southern girl who offered Gloria a deal. Act more like a lady and get treated like one; act like an animal and get caged like one. It was practically the same deal she'd had before in Blue Block only this girl actually looked like she was going to keep it.
So, for the first few days she was in Yellow, Risque took her medicine without problem. There was no need to fight or be held down. There was no protests on her part. Instead, there was only silent acceptance and good behavior. Glory was eventually let out to mingle with the other Yellow Blockers in the cafeteria and such. Rather than start fights, Risque held her tongue. She was trying to do what she could in order to just see the sun again. She was starting to look and feel rather puny.
Today, the stormtroopers let her out of her cage. Her leather collar had been replaced with a new yellow one when she moved to her new home and so this one wasn't as broken in as the old one. It bothered her and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't do anything to remove it. Damn those bastards and their creation of plant polymers. This was the first time she had been able to get a good look at Revolve and, while the idea of the whole thing seemed to stun her, she wasn't really sure where she was anymore. Something said she was at the library, but she didn't even realize the place had a library. What the hell was up with it all? First they were prisoners then they were servants and guests?
The young woman sat down in the open area close to the library and just looked around. She was like a caged animal who was finally let loose and was trying to figure out what they could and couldn't attack. She watched the people as they passed and tried to make heads or tails of her situation. If she was going to be let loose, she needed to be good, but watching these little 'pets' wander around made her still feel so angry. Eventually, her eyes settled on some green guy. Unlike some of the others here, Gloria had never seen people with physical mutations out in public. She wasn't used to it and so she couldn't help but to stare. "Are you usually green or is this a new color for you?"
