"Ya broke yer promise," he muttered, a half accusing tone. He did not push him away, did not even glare at him at the moment. In truth, Jason had never truly promised to allow Gibney to fight, but fighting was part of how he had presented the arrangement they were supposed to have, so Kyle had taken it as a contract, as a promise. "Yer refusin' t' let me fight anymore." His voice was a low growl again, a sneer tugging faintly at his lips. "...Yer makin' me a prisoner here." No, those were not at all the words the elder had used, but it was honestly the way Kyle saw things, and it bothered him oh so deeply. Stupid Gibs had fallen for his lies, and was now a prisoner, locked away from whatever good he might possibly be able to do his kind.
