Gibney nodded as he shifted into a slightly more comfortable crouch, taking the cloth and tossing it with the rest of the soiled towels he had used in cleaning up the old man. There was little chance that Kyle as going to sleep tonight, so at least he would be awake to provide that company. He probably would have laughed if he were privy to Jason's thoughts, he did not consider himself trustworthy in the least, always prone to flying off the handle and attacking even those he cared most about.
"'Kay," he muttered gruffly in reply to the request, licking his lips. "...'M still mad at you," he added after a long silence. It was important to him that Jason be aware of the fact. He had fought for him, defended him, but that did not mean he was happy with him. The comment was not overly rough, not aggressive, and certainly not threatening, just a simple reminder.
