Violet was still working the bar when Jason came in, the slight drunkedness and sour mood piquing her emotional interest. One of the things that bartenders did the world over was listen. He thumped himself down at the bar; honestly, from looking at him, it was hard to see him as the kind of guy that thumped down anywhere and glowered at the person sitting next to him. Since she was finishing up a transaction with one patron, she didn't immediately turn to see what his intentions were.
However, when he asked after the blonde with the wine, she did turn with a raised eyebrow. "You his ride, sweetheart," the way she said it was distantly affectionate. "Cause you must have just missed him."
Moving to where she could actually get a good look at Jason, she tilted her head to one side in a gesture of curiosity that had less to do with his drink order and more to do with the fact that his mood had gone from sour to completely and totally blue in a matter of moments. "Can I get you something while you wait, sir?" A good bit more formal this time around, but she had the feeling from looking at him that he would prefer to formal over the familiar.
Violet's hair decided it wanted to have a mind of its own and she reached up to run one distracted hand through it. That was it, she was getting at least the bangs cut to something bloody managable soon. The tattoos running up her arms were taking on a slight sheen, not quite glowing yet, in reaction to Jason's mood. He seemed like he needed cheering up or at least something to soothe him a bit.
