Violet truthfully hadn't been expecting him back so quickly. Not that she wasn't happy to see him again, just weirded out by how quickly he had gone away and come back. It seemed as if he'd only been gone a few minutes because he really had only been gone for a few minutes. Long enough for a little bit of an anticipation to build, but not much. She wasn't at the bar when he came in, busy delivering drinks to some of the floating patrons down near the three pool tables.
Standing out of sight of the door, she recited orders for a group of three 'gentlemen' who were already a little deep in their cups. Were this a truly normal bar, the keeper would have already told them to take their money elsewhere. Revolve wasn't really normal in that respect. So long as you minded the merchandise, then you were welcome to drink yourself into a coma. You and your friends. "Two whiskey sours and a peach mojito." She didn't even bother to hide the expression at the third man's order. What self respecting man drank peach mojitos?
It showed in her eyes, that question, though she refused to let it out from between her lips. For the moment, what a creature did at Revolve was heavily censored. What they thought was something else entirely and Violet hadn't been around long enough for them to break her spirit. If that would stay the case was completely up to her circumstances. Turning, she sauntered away, all too well aware of the eyes that followed her. Men stared. It was a fact of life.
The tender attending to Kyle was a bit surprised at the request. Wine was not exactly the most common request that they got, though it happened often enough that there was a good store of it laid by close enough at hand that getting a good dry red wine wasn't hard. He and Violet did a well coordinated switch as one moved to get Kyle's order and Violet started on the other three already on her plate. She did however look up long enough to realize Kyle was there and flash him a smile.
"Didn't expect you back so soon," she spoke and worked at the same time, setting up glasses and shakers for what she was going to need.
