Kyle was a great big ball of hurt right now, she was doing more for him than perhaps even she realized. Too dangerous, too much of a risk, always pushed away and rejected, someone reaching out to him, wanting him there close at hand was something new, different and greatly needed. Even if it was just for a short while, it did a great deal to heal his battered heart. It was almost laughable how sensitive a being existed under the gruff, growling exterior of the young wild man.
Kyle had little notion of personal space to begin with, perhaps it was the wolf in him. He was an affectionate creature when hew as not fighting to push everyone away in an attempt to protect himself. At the moment he was too wounded and far too eager for any kind of comfort and acceptance to try to keep people away, especially someone so lovely who was so openly beckoning him closer.
He shook his head to show that he did not suspect her of trying to burn him, reaching a hand out to the light. He liked this, a hint of a genuine smile actually cracking over his features as he felt himself letting go of a great deal of the grief and pain which had knotted in his stomach for several long days. He was staring to feel like himself again. Jason wanted him around, Sean had forgiven him for nearly taking his head off, and now this exotic stranger was treating him like this... perhaps he wasn't the monster he'd believed himself to be.
"'S warm," he muttered quietly, his voice a low, rumbling sound in his chest. The light slipped past his hand and lit up the fur on his hand and forearm, giving it a pale golden glow.
