Brynn felt the man leave her side, felt his sudden withdrawl and managed to roll over, scrambling to the side and huddled herself against the wall. She didn't cover her eyes, but sobbed in depth as she watched the darkened stallion slowly kill the man who had done this to her. Tears fell one after another as she watched the blood ooze from the now lifeless body. She hurt in a million places, her mind unmoving as she was going into shock. She couldn't move, couldn't think, pheromones of fear and pain moving in waves from her very form, sending the very angry guards running in a sudden onslaught of terror. She heard the alarms sound, hear the oncoming bodies in the hall, and still didn't move, her terrified gaze locked onto her now dead attacker. In the back of her head she hoped Aidrian would leave and save himself, but she could neither motion for him to do so nor speak to warn him.
