Piotr and Megan
It's a good thing she didn't spot him until well into the night then, because had she caught him when he first arrived she might have had to pantomime falling over dead like an insect with a lung full of bugspray. At this point, it was overpowering but not headache-inducing. She giggled as he said hello to her and nothing more. She had asked many questions in there somewhere, hadn't she? Oh well.
Off of his back she dropped, landing lightly on slippered feet. One hand lifted, dusting her hair back off of her forehead, the other fidgeting with her fingertips over the palm portion of her cast where it too itched. She seemed at a loss for what to say once all he spoke was hello to her. Her brows knitted together and she just stared up at him, rather lost for a moment.
A brief shake of her head brought her back to reality. "Didn't answer, why are you all alone in the corner. You should be having fun and mingling and having fun and maybe dancing but the music suuuuucks so maybe not dancing, but at least having fun and talking to friends and stuff." She nodded stoicly, then looked around for a moment.
After that heartbeat she noticed at least one of the girls giving her a dirty look and her cheeks went from inebriated pink to embarrassed red. "Ohno! I didn't think to ask if you had a girlfriend that was maybe the jealous type. I mean I don't mean anything by my pouncings, I pounced Vic and stuff earlier and he's gay you know and that's okay and it's not like that, so I hope I didn't get you in trouble at all."
