Forge's comment about the party was met with a bit of a huff/snarl. There were few creatures who made such noises, but Ribbon seemed to make them as a matter of course.
Fischer was elsewhere making small talk, if Ribbon wanted to listen, that wouldn't have been hard, but she didn't care to hear what they were talking about. Even if they were arranging fights for her, she didn't much care to hear who her opponents would be. After all, they were nothing to her. Fodder. Maybe a snack depending on the size.
She flicked a tentacle across one of the wandering platters. It, and essentially the waiter, were carrying little shrimp canapes. The woman outright stole the platter, making the server look up at her with wide eyes. Then he shuffled away, quickly, leaving the platter in her possession.
Ribbon liked shrimp. It was one of her favorite foods. So the fact that she stole the tray was hardly unexpected. What was unexpected was the fact that after eating two or three, she seemed to offer the platter to Forge as if asking if he wanted one.
