Forge noted Ribbon's entrance, but he did not go out of his way to go to her. He had the feeling that she was not going to be thrilled about being here, and while Forge knew that she was going to be ordered to be on her best behavior, he knew all too well that poking the bear was a bad idea. Only this bear was a thin, sharp-toothed female who seemed to be a crossbreed between a spider and a cat. He watched the pale face which floated before that shifting darkness atop the table, when she hissed and skirted away from the nosy and foolish humans, he decided perhaps he should try and rescue her.
Quietly, he set his now empty glass aside and made his way toward the shifting shadow connected to the wall. He gave her a bit of space, not wanting to crowd the prized fighter. He did not look at her, there was no reason to given her powers and her blindness, he instead faced the room, dark eyes watching those moving from group to group to make small talk.
"Evening, dull party, hmm?" He spoke softly to the shifting shadow beside him. He did not really expect an answer, but he had no problem extending the pleasantry. They were both reluctant guests here, true Forge fit in a bit more, but Ribbon was more of an attention grabber than he was. Regardless, he assumed she would appreciate a bit of non-gawking company, or at least provide a bit of interference to help prevent guests from having body parts removed.
