Fischer had come to her, telling her about the party, and Ribbon had at first just blinked at him tiredly. There was no real reason for her to care about things like some strange party he wanted her to go to. A party where there would be people and she wasn't even really to frighten anyone. She was going to have to go and truly behave. That made her wrinkle her nose and blow a huffing breath out her nose before allowing herself to be lead to the hotel.
Normally Ribbon didn't go anywhere near the hotel. It was more fun to hang around the amusement park, and to haunt the areas around the blocks. It was so much easier to blend in there.
Now she was the centerpiece, the darkness around her flicking and waving, as so many humans got their first chance to see her up close. What perhaps fascinated and frightened them the most was the fact that Ribbon was not kept on a chain at all. She was simply released into the room, where she found a spot sitting on a table, and allowed to interact as she thought fit. For the most part, she had no real interest in interacting with these people.
Occasionally someone would get brave and touch the darkness around her, feeling it caress their skin.
"God, it's silky," she turned her face and hissed in irritation. Then she hopped from that table to the wall, shaking her head once she was there, hanging from the wall hanging like a light source. It was already time for her to get out of there, before the irritation got bad enough for her to start severing fingers.
