It was good he seemed comfortable with her, not stiff at the idea of touching her, or pushy about it either. Their interaction was natural and that was something she didn't even know how to ask for. So many people found being close to her somehow frightening. Maybe that was another aspect of her personality, she could feel the underlying feelings behind physical actions.
In her view of the world, nudity and sexuality were not things to be hidden. A body was a beautiful thing if you took care of it and confidence was something that no one could replace. Violet generally had enough outward confidence for three or four people, so long as no one started pressing her buttons about the fact that she looked like a freak. Those things tended to upset her, whether she outwardly admitted to it or not. Mostly, she refused to admit to it. Hiding how she felt until she was alone and thus couldn't hurt anyone with it. It was just one more thing to feed the general distaste for life she had under the skin. Outward calm was the best thing for everyone.
"I used to have a boss. He's dead," Deadpool might have heard the rumor, or he might not have, it totally depended on how much people were still making of it months after the fact. That was one good thing about the Island, there wasn't much of a memory. Things were always being washed under by the new things that happened. Ethan Wayne's death had been a major issue when Violet killed him, but they seemed to have forgotten about her for the moment. She was more than happy to keep it that way.
All Violet truly knew about Japan was that those who came from there tended to bring major bankroll when they came to Vegas and well, everyone knew about sushi. Beyond that, she didn't have the faintest idea about Japan or why anyone would fall in love with there. "Only bad thing about loving a place is it can't love you back." It wasn't said as any kind of reproach, just an observation of how a place didn't have any feelings, much less anything to spare on a human. "Though I guess I loved Las Vegas, with all its bright lights and glitter."
