The building wasn't really his, but nevertheless, that was how he considered it, perhaps due to the years he'd worked there and the success he'd had doing so. So he didn't particularly care for the idea of not knowing what was going on in HIS house of horrors. Therefore he decided to track down the source of that curious noise since he had recieved no answer.
His eyes remained narrowed as he moved off the ground, floating in mid air, it appeared, shifting up to the area where he thought he'd heard the strange noise coming from. That was when he got the surprise of his life. The first thing he saw were..black tendrils or something..the hell were they, tentacles? No, they didn't really look like nasty tentacles, they reminded him of what he sometimes used to tie back his hair--ribbo--OH SHIT! His heart thudded in his chest as he reared back, the surprise obvious on his pale face as if he'd discovered a horent's nest or something equally as nasty, and perhaps he had. He paused in mid air, seeing now what was attached to the ribbons, his sharp eyesight cutting into the dimness and the shadows.
He stared with wide mismatched eyes, though to his credit, he did not flee, just looked like he wanted to but thought better of it. What the hell was she doing here?! He had to wonder if his safety was something he had right now or not..then again she hadn't been trying to do anything..maybe she was just watching..?
He blinked at the thought, clearing his throat slowly, wondering if she had a means of communication or if she even wanted to communicate with him, but he decided to try. "Uh...sorry 'bout that, didn't expect any company." He managed to announce rather gruffly, floating back to the ground, the bottoms of his feet touching down as he kept an eye on her.
