Vic was delighted to not be pushed or shied away from, very few people let him charge in and attack them with affections. Right now the list held Violet, Pixie and Mason, and Mason could often be surly and reject random attacks. He had to fall for the difficult one, didn't he? He gave her another firm but careful squeeze, seemed most everyone was banged up after the disaster, then pulled away to look her over more. Not fully letting go, but offering a bit of breathing room.
"Oh--sorry," He murmured honestly, forehead creasing as he looked her over. She didn't look so great, well, she looked worn down and tired. Not that he blamed her, it was too easy to let something so big and traumatic get to you. Not to mention the hard times she'd had before that. He heaved a soft sigh as he looked into her face, asking softly, gently, "You ok?" A valid question, really.
