Their conversation ensued, almost if they were actually plotting the death of their common enemy. "Well, he'd be a martyr to the humans... they could somehow spin it that way. Their own personal, little, breakable Jesus." Itzal smiled at his comment. So what if the humans looked at him as some kind of hero against the mutants, it would be so worth it. Now he was somewhat entertained. The feral wasn't bad company, maybe people shouldn't avoid him as much. "Humans not bad? Hmm... it's a foreign concept to me, but I'll stay objective." He told the other, thinking to himself. The only type of people he has ever met were either bad to him or indifferent. "So you have a brother. ...don't believe I've heard that name around here..." He thought to himself out loud, just being inquisitive.
By the other mutant's reaction, he could tell he cared to some extent about his brother. At one point, Nox did care about his parents. Part of him still ached to think about what happened, but it was in the past now. If anything, he wasn't very happy for thinking back to all those times. He sometimes just wished they were erased, but he knew no amount of wishing would cause that.
The other seemed to want to keep a few of them under wraps as well. The shade didn't want too many people to find out about his final move. It's bad enough he ripped half of the obstacle arena apart the last time he used it. That was a satisfying fight as it was against the other feral, Wild Child. But that was the past now and he had to move past it. He just hoped that the feral was alive out there somewhere. Since he hasn't beaten him yet and all, of course.
The feral before him showed him the claws he bored. "Hmm... that could be useful." He commented, his interest piqued by far. "So... you're one, too?" The darkling inquired, having a bit more interest now. "I've only run into one other feral here." He told the other, wondering if he knew who he was. "Well, if I'm ever looking for you, I'll just shout your name from across the island." He smirked. "Or maybe I should just say it normally?" He was interested to see how far he could push the feral's hearing, but that would be an experiment for another day.
"Oh!" He thought to himself. "How rude of me. I'm Itzal. Or you can call me Nox. Either works." He introduced himself more formally, extending a hand to shake, although wasn't really betting on the other to shake it.
"I guess I'm somewhat useful." He grinned, obviously knowing what he was capable of. "But this does keep me from doing anything too... bad, I suppose. Fischer decided it would be best to keep my abilities nullified for the time being. Just in case." He let the other know, extending his grin from ear to ear. "What kind did he give you?"
