She tucked her wings back behind her when he frowned at the bandaged one. Yes, they healed but a bit more slowly than her other injuries would normally. Of course the slight damage to her wing would be better before her broken wrist would. She's just lucky that her adrenaline was so high she didn't feel it when it happened, and that she got herself into the bathtub with the mattress on time.
"Yeah, but I have some money." she answered and rose to go get a strawberry italian soda, not really wanting anything hot or overly strong. A little wave at him from the bar, then she's sliding back into the seat beside him, tucking against his side to let him wrap her up again. It was soothing, the filial affection he gave. She'd never had a brother before, but Vic was so easily sliding into that role.
"That's kind of weird, I'm sure a bunch of them are throwing fits. How dare you insinuate I'm a dirty mutant!" She huffed a sigh, rolled those big blue eyes and layed her head against his bicep. "I was just starting to rebuild mine, so I didn't have that much yet. I'll help you in any way I can though."
