It seems we have...

There's an interesting... hiccup. In regards to [...] preparations for father.

[a few hours after this exchange, once uther's had a chance to sleep and regroup, he sends this message via crystal]

I was told to speak with you.

[...]

I do not like- [a cough, clearing his throat] I will admit at this point, I am lost at what I am supposed to do at this point.

We all received these letters saying Father was ill and to return home, didn't we? But from what I've seen, it sounds like he wasn't ill at all. Is that right? Liber?

If that's true... who sent us all letters? And why?

Message I: who: Admiral Meda, Captain Springwell, Sheriff Dyewin, General Evso. Time: Two hours after the King's death

( Doot Doot, military folk )

Message II: Who: Siblings (except Uther who gets his own). Time: A little bit after she's done with the above

Message III: who: Uther White. When: not long after sibling call

( Doot, Doot, Uther )

[Lintu sounds tired and shaken.]

Father's dead. Someone killed him and... and took his eye.

[ Mira pulls back to Hellistrix after that feeling washed over her. The noises of clashing metal, shouting, and screaming are still close enough to hear. ]

Did any of you feel that and have any idea what it was? [ Mira is not the sort to be magically inclined, but she's been around those who are enough to know that something just happened. ]

So, [ There's a sloshing sound in the background along with the very distant sound of canon fire. ] I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that this isn't standard Naval practice maneuvers. Everybody okay in there?

[There's no small amount of background noise—mostly people grunting, a few large explosions, the sound of someone screaming as they (presumably) fall from a ship's deck into the water below.]

Sound off. Who's here, where, and what support do you need?

[Bastian grunts as a body hits his shield.]
