"Nero turned the words to motion when he turned his face away from Shelke: he knew what she wanted, and that only the mask and his own will lay between her and her goal. His simple movement told her that he knew, and her reaction said it all. Why else would she feel like a thief?"
Fair enough. Actions do speak louder than words. Heh. Besides, nothing to stop me from doing this prompt myself. :D
"Thank you for the challenge"
No problem.
" -- personally, Weiss and Nero belong together; I can't see them with anyone else. "
I don't blame you. I actually do ship Nero/Shelke, but it's like a tugboat to the Weiss/Nero juggernaut ship. It's just not the same--period. I actually tried to resist the incest aspect, but it's just too painfully obvious.
"I like the way you put it about the dog chasing a car -- Nero just wouldn't be into it, at least not in the way Shelke might be hoping."
And the thing is, I don't think she does hope for it. At least not for long or for love. She's a calculating machine, completely incapable of ANY kind of love. Sure, she improves once captured, but that's AFTER her sister sacrificed herself. Well after, in fact.
