Out of curiosity, why didn't you use the actual line?
Nero turned the words to motion when he turned his face away from Shelke: he knew what she wanted, and that only the mask and his own will lay between her and her goal. His simple movement told her that he knew, and her reaction said it all. Why else would she feel like a thief?
Thank you for the challenge -- personally, Weiss and Nero belong together; I can't see them with anyone else. I like the way you put it about the dog chasing a car -- Nero just wouldn't be into it, at least not in the way Shelke might be hoping. Trying to wrap my mind around this and the other Shelke prompt really gave me a good creative stretch!
